THE
ONE I LOVE documentary by Pawel Hejbudzki, 93 min
.
The
film The One I Love explores deeply universal human issues, particularly
the theme of revenge stemming
from
a lack of love and its devastating consequences. These themes are
especially relevant today, resonating with conflicts not only
in
Ukraine but also in other regions affected by war. The story reflects how
family disputes - ranging from political disagreements, grievances
about
upbringing, and unresolved traumas - can mirror larger global tensions,
showing that even micro-scale conflicts shape the current world.
The
film has sparked engaging discussions with audiences in Shanghai and
Warsaw, and it will soon do so in Rome, proving that, despite
geographical
distance from war zones, family conflicts are universally relatable across
countries.
